The DLP deployment trial is currently underway and is due for completion December 2014, with some courses continuing for a short while into 2015. Part of the trial is sponsored training available for prospective future Hunter TAFE students - more information on this initiative is below. Another area of the trial is in disabilities, where a trial is underway using web technologies to support a home iTAFE student who is part of the trial.
Learner Survey Results are in!
We have over 200 learners as part of the deployment trial and recently 47 learners responded to a commencement survey with inspiring results!
The commencement survey has now closed and initial results indicate greater than 90% satisfaction rating in all areas including: the learning environment, learning community, learning content and personalisation features of itafe.net.
Telstra Store on Wheels
Planning has begun in collaboration with Telstra and Mingara the “Telstra Store on Wheels” marketing opportunity for Hunter TAFE. Starting on 3 November the Store on Wheels will provide a unique marketing opportunity for Hunter TAFE and feature live virtual training sessions with teams from the Digital learning Project.
